The Fontana Aquatics Club offers a competitive swimming program that is challenging and fun. We are a parent run, family orientated team & have non-profit status. We emphasize hard work and team effort in a sport that is usually seen as an individual effort. We compete in United States Swimming events all year, and we are part of the San Gorgonio Swim League that competes May-July. Since becoming a year 'round team in 2005, more & more swimmers are qualifying for AA competitions & the Southern California Junior Olympics. But you don't have to be a Junior Olympic swimmer to join our team! We welcome any child that loves swimming! If you are between the ages of 4 and 18, can swim all four strokes, want to work hard and be a part of our swim family, come out to one of our practices and try out! When: Monday through Thursday, Saturday mornings. Some Friday evenings (TBD) Please note temporary summer schedule below in 411 area Bronze: 4:45-6:00pm Silver B: 4:45-6:15pm Silver A: 5:45-7:30pm Gold: 5:00-7:30pm Saturday's 8:00-10:00 for silver & gold groups only. Please verify Saturday practices which will depend on meet schedule. Tryout placement: Mon-Thurs. 5:45

You can do this on line, by phone or at any Park & Rec office. Late fees are assessed after the 10th of the month. If you do not pay your monthly dues by the 15th of the month, you must go to the main Park & Rec office on Sierra.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Make sure to pick up your belongings from the pool & locker room area after practice each day. See a board member or the Aquatics Center lost & found if you are missing something. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please note new meet procedures below. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meet Deadlines: If you need to order scrip, you can download the order form here. Please turn in the form to Gloria at any time. ---------------------------------------------------- Team suit orders will only be taken in February & October. The only exception would be if we had a large influx of swimmers & could get an order of at least 12. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Because of the number of swimmers entering USS meets, the meet administrators are having to cut swimmers that enter late. Please be aware of meet entry deadlines so that we can enter early & not run the risk of having swimmers from our team not able to swim. **Procedure for meet sign ups:**
When signing up your swimmer for a meet you will also be required to sign up for a timing position at the same time or your swimmer will not be entered in the meet. If your swimmer is going to the meet with another family, please make prior arrangements with a board member. Please pay attention to events with an * & be aware of minimum times required. If you do not understand something about a meet or an event, please ask a board member. Use the event sheet that is issued to each meet.
