
Misty Jaquez
Bronze/Silver B Coach
Coach Misty is a lifelong resident of Fontana. She swam for the Fontana Aquatics Club (FAC) from the age of twelve and swam varsity for Fontana High School and at Cal State Fullerton. Coach Misty became a certified life guard at the age of 16. She worked for the City of Fontana as a WSI instructor and Pool Manager until the age of 26. She has been certified in CPR and First Aid yearly since 1987, as well as holding certifications in Advanced CPR and Lifesaving for the professional responder and was certified as an EMT in 1994. Coach Misty is ASCA level one certified and is in the process of completing level two. She started coaching for FAC as an assistant coach in 1998 and took over as Head Coach from 2001-2003, taking a break and returning in 2006. She has also coached multiple sports for Fontana Unified, including Track, Volleyball, and Cross Country. Coach Misty resides in Fontana with her daughter Madison, who has been swimming for FAC since 1997. Misty is our Bronze coach.
